Luke 24:13-35 recounts the story of two disciples walking to Emmaus on the day of Jesus' resurrection. They encounter Jesus on the road but do not recognize him. Jesus explains the scriptures to them as they walk and later, during a meal, breaks bread with them, revealing his true identity before disappearing from their sight. Gregg Prickett points out important lessons we can learn about our own journey with Christ from this story.
