In 1963, God blessed Rose Drive Friends Church with an incredible property on the corner of Rose and Bastanchury for the purpose of reaching Yorba Linda, Placentia, and the surrounding communities. We believe FriendsFWD, our ongoing effort to enhance our campus and help guests encounter God in a clean and comfortable environment, will further maximize our opportunity to reach and impact people for Jesus.
You may have noticed a few FriendsFWD updates have already taken place in and around our lobby. New carpeting and railings have been installed. New furniture has been added that makes it easier for people to gather. We mounted TVs on the patio for additional viewing. And, a new room has been created to provide a private space for nursing moms. Our biggest update is currently taking place – new carpeting and seating inside our Sanctuary! It has been over 20 years since any improvements have been made to either, and we believe the impact of these enhancements will be amazing! With your generosity, we can finish this phase of upgrades and look forward to additional needed improvements.
After our Sanctuary improvements have been completed, we plan to continue to enhance our property through the ongoing efforts of FriendsFWD. We will begin other campus improvements such as updating The Café, patio area, and youth rooms. More exciting updates to FriendsFWD are coming soon!
