Divorced? Life after Divorce helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. On Tuesday, September 14, 7:00-9:00 p.m., Singles Ministry will launch a new 8-week program called Life after Divorce. The course will include DivorceCare® Curriculum, an evening with an MFT, and conclude with a panel discussion with a family attorney and therapist. DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K®) will be available for children 5-12. (There will be no childcare for children under 5.) The cost is $30/adult and $15/child (workbook and weekly dinner is included). Register here. The deadline to register is September 12. Contact Judi in the church office for more information. There aren’t many people around you who understand the pain your divorce has caused. To you. Your family. Your friends. That’s the reason Life After Divorce is using the DivorceCare® curriculum. It’s a special weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. Support Groups At Life after Divorce you will become part of a small support group of people who have experienced divorce. You’ll meet others who understand what you are feeling and who will be able to offer you encouragement. You’ll also have a chance to talk about the information presented during the DivorceCare® seminar. Many participants say these support groups are the most helpful part of the program. Life after Divorce Leadership The leadership team for Life after Divorce consists of people who understand how you feel and have a real concern for individuals who are experiencing separation and divorce. The DivorceCare® material is nondenominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation. Click here to download the Life after Divorce brochure. |
