NEEDED FOR FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY Our church pantry is in need of donations of canned beans, tuna helper, canned meals, plain rice (i.e. not Rice a Roni-type), canned fruit, cereal, jam/jelly, and spaghetti pasta. Please leave donations on the church patio on Sunday mornings or in the church office during the week. These items and others are given to people who visit the church office asking for assistance.
TOYS NEEDED Do you have "gently used" medium to large sized Fisher Price-type toys that you would like to donate to Children's Ministries? We would love your donations! Please call Dean White or Maryann in the church office (714.528.6496) to arrange for delivery. Thank you!
FOOD MINISTRY HELP NEEDED Volunteers are needed to do food pickup at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays at a local supermarket. The food is used to support HIS House and needy families in the church. PRISON OUTREACH Kairos is a Christian ministry made up of men and women who volunteer their time and resources to spread the Good News of salvation to prisoners around the world. Our goal is to Christianize the prison.
AUDIO-VISUAL TECHNICIAN NEEDED! The demands for available people to operate our sound boards, light boards, computers, and cameras are ever-increasing at RDFC. Previous experience is always a plus, but training is available for anyone who is interested in participating in this vital ministry. We need assistance during the days for our mid-week programs like JOY Bible Study and Mom's Connection, on Wednesday evenings for our adult elective classes, and on Saturday evenings and Sundays mornings for our worship services. AUDITIONS We are currently auditioning electric bass and drummers for our praise band. If you have a desire to participate in this ministry please contact Mark Miller for an audition time. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to play in a wide range of styles, have a committed relationship with Jesus Christ, and desire to play for His glory and honor.

Please keep in mind that all prospective volunteers will be asked to complete a volunteer application and interview before working in the classroom. Training is on-the-job with the help of the hour coordinator.
- Sunday Morning Nursery
Do you love babies? We would love to have you help us in the nursery. Loving arms needed during the Sunday morning services at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. We are looking for helpers High school age and up. We can adjust your nursery schedule around your Sunday School or other class, you do not have to commit to every week. You must have attended RDFC for at least 6 months and go through our clearance to work with the children. Please call Tresa Miller in the church office (714) 528-6496 or email her for an application. - Saturday Night Children's Ministry
The 2nd - 5th grade combo class needs one team leader and two helpers (this could be a family) to work every other week with this age group. All lessons are prepared for you. One lead teacher and one helper are needed every other week for our 4s - 1st grade class. All curriculum is prepared for you. One helper is needed for a special needs child in our 4s - 1st grade class. One adult and one helper (or one family) needed in our nursery the first and third Saturday evening of the month.
1ST IMPRESSIONS MINISTRY You can make an eternal difference in a person's life just by being friendly and helpful. If you would like to be a greeter, part of the parking team, or help at the Guest Services table or Welcome Center, pick up a 1st Impressions Ministry flyer at the Guest Services table today.
CHILDREN'S BOOKS NEEDED FOR THE CHURCH LIBRARY If you have some good children's books that you are no longer in need of, won't you please donate them to our church library for our used books sale? LOVE KIDS? LOVE GOD? Chapel on Wheels (Released Time Christian Education) Placentia/Yorba Linda School District needs loving adults to give Christian instruction to children attending public school (4th-5th graders) during lunch time. Positions for teachers and assistants are available (training is provided). Credential not required; references will be checked. Commitment is about 1.5 hours on a teaching day. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT CHARITY'S CLOSET Charity’s Closet is an upscale thrift shop in downtown Placentia. The Closet is operated strictly by volunteers and all profits are used to support H.I.S. House, the homeless intervention shelter in Placentia. Volunteers are needed for accepting and sorting donations and for sales personnel.
