What can I expect?
It's our hope that your first visit will be a positive experience. This page is intended to help you get to know a little about us so that you know what to expect.
What about my kids?
"We believe that some of the best times a kid has should be at church." C.W. Perry, Founding Pastor
We offer Children's Church during morning worship, Sunday School classes where caring teachers help your child learn God's Word, tender loving nursery care by mature workers, and progrmas for Middle School, High School, and college-ages students.
What does Rose Drive Friends believe?
- We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and therefore, a reliable standard of what we believe, as well as the guide for how we live.
- We believe that there is one God who exists forever in three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, and by His death and resurrection, anyone by repentance and faith may receive eternal life.
- We believe the new life in us is evidenced by living in obedience to the known will of God revealed in the Bible.
- We believe He gives us His strength through the present work of the Holy Spirit in us, enabling us to live a full and satisfying life as a Christian.

Is someone available to help me know where to go?
Before each worship service, greeters and ushers are available to welcome you and to offer help. We also have a Welcome & Information Center in front of the Sanctuary staffed with helpful people and information.
What are your worship services like? Our worship services are relaxed and somewhat informal. We sing with the words to most songs projected onto overhead screens in the front. On any given weekend our Music Ministries may use a variety of musical instruments: organ, piano, keyboard, guitar, drums, or full orchestra to accompany the choir, praise teams, ensembles. and soloists. We are blessed with skilled and dedicated worship leaders to guide us in a meaningful worship experience. Our worship service at Rose Drive typically runs 1 hour and 15 minutes in length with an offering taken during the service. Our Senior Pastor customarily presents a solid, biblical sermon punctuated with personal application that he has prepared during the week.
Do you have a time for meeting people and refreshments each Sunday? Refreshments are served in the Center before the 6:00 p.m. Saturday service and the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service. Refreshments and fellowship time are also available on the patio between the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services in the Sanctuary. Enjoy a cup of coffee, bottle of water, soda, and a cookie or doughnut. Use this informal time to get to know others. A minimal donation is suggested to cover costs.
Should I dress up for church at Rose Drive? Most people dress according to their own comfort levels, but it is entirely a personal decision. On Sunday mornings, you will find men and women in suits and dresses as well as in slacks and jeans. Summer and Wednesday evening clothing tends to be a bit more casual.
Will I find other people my age? Those who attend Rose Drive range in age from just a few days old to retirement age. We offer various Sunday classes for children and adults, based on ages and areas of interest. There are also specific study and fellowship groups, such as women’s Bible studies; men’s groups; children's, middle school, senior high, and college activities; groups for singles, seniors (50+), and much more.
